Fate/Serendipity
This weekend Big Verno Kay and Miss Edith Bowman were discussing the chances of winning the lottery. A point was made that all the people who have won large amounts on the lottery have said that they just ‘knew’ that they were going to win.
This got me thinking; if I think im going to “win” so strongly that I believe it above and over everthing else then will it happen?
I use “win” in inverts because it depends what I’m wanting to believe I’ll “win”.
Is it what you believe or fate/serendipity that makes things happen?
Serendipity - a Favourite word of mine
1. an aptitude for making desirable discoveries by accident.
2. good fortune; luck: the serendipity of getting the first job she applied for.
When I was thinking about this I came through a blind door; as I was pulling another woman was pushing and we scared each other with our presence a little! (I hate when that happens)
Anyways after our little moment in the doorway she said “A Chance Meeting” and those three words struck me;
If you believe it and wish it to happen; will it?
or Is it the serendipitious “Chance Meeting” that’s the real driving force?
