When you think of Tartan you think Scotsmen, kilts, highland flings and the lovely and very handsome Gerrard Butler!

However with 0% Scottish Blood I would never have dreamt of wearing Tartan; not even when SJP sported Alexander McQueen’s Tartan Dress back in 2006 at the Anglomania Gala.

Recently I’ve had penchant for Tartan and feel like I’ve seen it everywhere; literally just this evening again; a platinum blonde with a vintage tartan suitcase.

My Hairdresser disputed my thought that only the traditional red tartan was on the rise, possibly because he was sporting a rather fetching Fred Perry blue Tartan Shirt.

I’m still not convinced so I’ll just stick to the Tartan Scarf I’m yet to purchase and leave the rest of it to the cheeky-no-pants-Scotsmen!
