Why on the morning im late for work does the door swell in the door frame preventing me from leaving through the only way in or out my flat?!

Shit like this never happens when im early or even on time; its truly ridiculous!

I had to ring my land-lady in devistation and embarrassment  to get her to come help!

I was an hour late for work and for what solace? the mortification of announcing that I was locked in my own flat?!
